Hey gang, we started the day out at our first location with a small fleet of boats. It was about 90 percent short action with some keepers mixed in. I didn’t waste much time there I decided to look for something better. And the second location - we beat on them. We were the only boat there fishing and had it all to ourselves for 2-1/2 hours. It reminded me of the old days. Big Joe had a triple limit on keepers (ORL), Ocean Pete had about the same (ORL), Jimmy from the Star had 5 (ORL). Ken had 5 [ORL]. Jack with 5 ORL. We had a total of 17 customers on the boat today and everyone on the boat went home with their 3 keepers - a boat limit. Including Joe Sr. and myself we had a total of 57 keeper fluke. We stopped fishing at 12:30 and went home early. We docked about 2:00 today. We had 7 or 8 bigger fish today. Doc won the daily pool with a 7.10 lber. Big Joe had a 6.25 lber. The new leader for the big pool. And we had quite a few in the 4 to 5 lb. class. We let a lot of fluke go today. It sure was a fun day on the ocean. Let’s go fishing tomorrow (Wed.) because it might be the last good day to fish off-shore in the ocean again. Thanks, Capt. Scott
