GOLDEN EAGLE - TODAY'S FISHING & YESTERDAY'S EXOTICS TRIP UPDATE

We tried a few different areas today and had a pick on long drifts. It was slower than it has been but we stayed with it all day. The last 3 drifts were the best as we read the BLUES on the scope better and were able to hold fish on. Anglers that worked hard at it had their limit of BLUES that ranged from 2 to 4 lbs. We also had NICE SEA BASS and FLUKE on board in the mix.

We had tough weather on yesterday’s Exotics Trip. The wind was blowing northeast 25 to 30 so it made moving around almost impossible. We did get a few fish though.

We are looking forward to the upcoming Canyon Tuna Trips in September and October where fishing will be much more consistent.

We have private morning charters both Thursday and Friday so we will not be open to the public but will be back to our normal schedule Saturday and will see you then.
