OCEAN FLUKE REPORT 8/20
we were out today with another nice crowd of Prowler regulars. I knew we had a small opportunity to get the first drift in where we fished yesterday. We used our speed to get there quick. Had a great first drift, with a dozen keeper fluke, and at least 60 shorts. Went to make the second drift, and there was no drift, .1. We didn't waste any time, and flew offshore into the deep water to get the job done. Had to work the pieces over and over. Had really nice sea bass all around the boat, few porgys, and a good mess of keeper fluke. Ocean Pete took today's pool and had his limit. Big Joe had his fluke limit, along with Pat and Crusty who also got their limit. Fished hard for a great group of people. Pleasure having Mr Kim out on the Prowler 5 again with us after being here Wednesday with his family. We left a little earlier today, and stayed out later. Kudos to Joe Sr, Joe Jr, and Johnny, worked their tails off today and took great care of the people as always.
