Default FISHERMEN/Saturdays Report

Lot's of current in the AM, needed the weight but the action was good to start the day.

Some nicer fish including Mike's 4.7 pound Fluke that ended up coming in second on the pool to Marks 5.7 pound beauty! Bite died for the last hour and a half and didn't turn back on. Some beauty Sea Bass in the mix also.

Now for my rant of the week. Had a very good customer today get stuck in the rocks, Joe try's to get him out, another customer was tangled in the line, Joe lost control of the rod and it went overboard. Customer is pissed, I get it, Joe offers him his own personel Rod with an avid reel and custom Rod over $400 Value, customer tells me he lost a $200 set up what are we going to do about it? You got the offer. You refused something to make it right, now I get the text "I will never step on that boat again".

Sorry you feel that way my friend, accidents happen, we tried to correct it, you passed. Hazards of fishing in the Rocks and I'm actually surprised it went this way.

Capt. Ron

I wouldn't worry or have second thoughts about the PERSON who lost his rod in the rocks and neither should JOE. Joe is one of the best mates on the dock and is not responsible for lost equipment. PERIOD IT............... If he cut his line he most likely would complain about that..................

Although I’ve never had the pleasure of fishing on your boat; plenty of my friends have. Your reputation precedes you. Your reports are always dead on and truthful. It’s clear you run a top notch operation. Sometimes bad things happen to good ppl; Sorry your customer couldn’t understand that and accept a generous offer. Don’t lose a seconds worth of sleep over this.

Capt. Ron, you don't need that guy. Joe is a stand-up guy and did the right thing. I would work deck with your crew any time. We all have things happen like that. Such is life.
