PLENTY OF ACTION ALL AROUND THE BOAT TODAY!

We ran offshore and fished the edge of the Mud Hole with good results. We anchored up and chummed and chunked which started the MACKEREL immediately all around the boat with 2lb. BLUES mixed in.

When the MACKEREL fishing slowed late morning, we had a better percentage of BLUES coming in up to 8lbs. The BLUES were jigged and caught on bait and there were plenty of them up along the side of the boat at times in the chum slick.

High hook of 22 BLUES went to Steve Boxer from Middletown. Nick Polacco from Freehold and Matt Bajek from Denville both had 10 BLUES each. All anglers only keep their limit of 5. Martin Li and his party of 4 from Flanders all limited out on BLUES. POOL WINNER was Steve Boxer with A 10 LB. BLUEFISH!
