Default Off the rocks

Haven't been hitting the water as much as usual, but still get there & do the damn thing when feasible. Was fishing a little bit under the Great Falls in heroin city a few days ago, just grabbing small smallies while another guy there was catching cat & carp. I made my way to the huge rocks in the middle of the gorge,(as i & many others do frequently), and literally got redirected by a guy with a megaphone from across the river saying i can get a ticket for fishing there. Not to cause problems, i did make my way back but never seen this before here. Do i have to have a needle & drugs with me in order to not be bothered there now? Paterson's priorities are different, hope it's not a constant presence.
Besides smallies there, found some Larries upstream at a confluence, and downstream under the dam. Small pike in the mix as well but not too big. The smaller bass went 3lbs & hit a crankbait i was burning through the foam under the dam. The bigger Larry was upstream and went 5˝lbs, the bite immediately died afterwards.

Also got a chance to link up with Bruce Banner & hit a secluded lake with some success. He hooked up a few early on. Which was good cause i didn't wanna see him turn green.😅 Then i was able to get on a few shortly after. Nothing huge but was a fairly productive day and he also showed me a gnarly walking path "inside" the lake itself. Was the best footing i've ever had wading. Even snapped a pic of the big guy holding a Larry! I need to add that at the same spot, we ran into a fella called GoGoGomez. Not the cartoon. Besides handing lures out to like everyone at the lake, he does & gives ALOT for the kids. Besides his time, he gives all kinds of gear, trips, lessons, and overall great experiences for kids and those with special needs who couldn't otherwise make do. Soo, GoGoGomez, i'm pretty sure he's on Facebook,ig., etc. Look him up, give up some gear for the kids & help make a difference.

Also, here's a pic of a tic infested area. Got some bass outta here but probably all there is there. And nothing big. Pm's only, if you can name this spot i'll give whoever gets it right a free crankbait, with luck included. Pm's only, here's a pic...
