Been a minute but I've been keeping my lines wet and just been pretty damn busy. Recent trips have been out trouting with nothing over 2lbs but some nice rainbows in the mix and was able to find my 1st wild brown trout over the winter as well. Was only 8-9" but I was still stoked. Found a few pike but no bigguns so no pics and same with the bass, did get some good hiking in though. Went carping with the cold and got a bunch to bite. Had 2 poles out but they kept biting only on one. After rethinking if I should recast the 2nd pole I decided just let it keep soaking. Sure enough they took it and wound up being bigger than the 21lber I just got. After a decent fight got her and she weighed out at 28.7lbs. My new pb after an old 23lber! Took a pic and sent her sweet. I might have some time Sunday so hopefully the fish do too. We'll see.
