![]() Will be there for the first time in June.
Anything worthwhile? Read what I could by googling but would love to hear some first hand stuff. Pretty much open to anything inshore/offshore.

![]() I believe there are flats that you can catch bonefish on as well as a good offshore fishery for wahoo & yellowfin tuna.

![]() I'll second the wahoo fishery, I have a photo somewhere, we got 27 in one day, big ones. Try to reach James Robinson on the Wound Up, I fished with him years ago. He also won the World Cup Marlin tournament one year, you won't go wrong.

![]() FYI They have a casino on the Island now! Just saying you can fly and get the same benefit as a cruise if a little cards / dice is your thing. Depending on time of year the NY to Bermuda cruise can not be comfortable seas.
Beautiful Island / beaches and can tour most if not all on mopeds! Takes a little getting used to driving left lane. Great golf courses too if weather doesn't cooperate for fishing.

![]() You can do offshore or reef fishing. I have never done offshore there. 35 years ago we did reef fishing and snorkling by renting a 13 ft Boston Whaler and running it ourselves. We rented the fishing poles and brought our own snorkel gear.
You can still rent whalers and other boats out of several places. I did not see that they rent fishing gear, but an email to them would solve that. If you go this route, bring along some basic tackle. Snorkeling was good as there are marine porotected areas. Fishing was good once you got the hang of adjusting your line to avoid hanging up on the coral as you drifted along. We did not try anchoring. You can also go inside the harbor area and stop on deserted beaches. There is one reef head/charter boat, Baxters, with reasonable prices, but reef only. Half day fishing. Leaves from the Royal Dockyard where all the larger ships dock. I see that some cruise lines have fishing excursions as options Since it is part of the "Empire", I usually try to eat one meal at an Indian restaurant in Hamilton. |

![]() Should be a great trip and I hear it's expensive there for food and lodging so a cruise makes it more affordable. Enjoy!
