We have been out everyday the weather is good,,fishing has been up and down..some days we see great life with tons of shorts and occasional keepers...Some nice quality fish here and there when they decide to bite..Some bonus Codfish in the mix to..as well as a few ilng and pollock if you get lucky..Water is still very warm believe it or not...Diving the other day I had 44 degrees on the bottom in 82 feet with the surface around 42..Fish were including blackfish and sea bass were out and swimming around..Where usually they are hibernating...Unheard of for February thats for sure...That is why we still get bites in the 80 to 100 foot range..We usually never do...The visibility was specatcular as well..We had 30 plus feet with loads of light coming in...Besides this cold this weekend its looking good all this week with mild temps,,we are fishing everyday the conditions are good..Seasonal pool is well over 5300 bucks and February is the month we usually see the big Stud males,or fat females up over 15lbs usually win the pool especially when we are fishing all the deeper water wrecks and rocks that we fish this time of year...See ya onboard,,730am departure everyday...
