Default Fluke regs

I understand the rules are the rules but what I can't understand is why some of the sponsored boats on this page and some nonsponsored boats out there keep posting pictures of their customers breaking those regulations. Whether it is a NY boat which their limit is 4 fluke at 18.5" there are constant pictures of any individual not just 1 in the picture but many different people on different post pictured with 6, 7, 8 fish for 1 person when the law is 4 per trip. Now NJ regs are royally screwed but in the same sence why post these pictures of people holding 3 fish all over 18" when they are legally allowed only 1. Also I get it the regs are for the paid fares for the boat so maybe not everyone caught their 18" fish same as NY people holding 7 or 8 fish whatever it's for the boat not everyone catches but why put yourselves out there for this when the rules are the rules. Anybody wanna put their feedback in I would love to hear what others have to say about this. Thanks

Party boats are not regulating what everyone is keeping. That’s a joke. At the same time I’m sure if it’s over 18 it definitely goes in the box. Also it doesn’t make much difference bc most fish over 17” are still females. Same problem, different year with much less fish than previous years. Gee I wonder y? Lol.

I for one think many shots showing more than a single limit, are because 2 or more anglers put their catch together for a single shot... Maybe I'm wrong, but any party boats i have been on want NO part of exceeded bag limits or undersize fish. Its their ass in a sling along with their fares when some state employed lackey busts the angler for"poaching"... They don't want the headaches, they have enough problems these days staying in business.. IF folks are exceeding the limits and are taking pics of their illegal take and posting them, I would say they are acting VERY foolishly, and are taking pretty stupid risks, and for what reason??.. To show what great fishermen they are??.. Doesn't make much sense if you ask me, and I personally have a higher opinion of the average fisherman's intellect.... bob

I don't care about rules that don't make sense, but I don't post photos of myself breaking them.

Look at this - people ganging up about the new regs. Do you all have super vision and can tell 17” from 18”? Are you clairvoyant and can tell from the pic how many people caught them? ? Do you realize the person taking the pics was also fishing? I’m not sure what you the mission is with this post but to keep people from doing reports and helping us all out

You should be far more concerned that the fishing industry has been seriously decimated by fake science and payola regulations. A person keeping a fish that is 1/4 inch too big or to small as per FAT, FAT regulators whose income is derived from destroying businesses and recreation (think weakfish regulations which are really destructive to both....winter flounder etc.) is not hurting anyone while these FAKE, FAT, GREEDY, POLITICAL Regulators destroy everything in sight while taking vacations every year when so many others haven't taken vacations in years due to the regulators incompetence.

I was thinking the same thing! Keep seeing the same thing over and over again. I think it give us fisherman a bad look.

The politicians behind these "regulations" most certainly keep everything they want....how do you think we got into over $100 Trillion of debt? Debt for us - the most non-woke pubilc on earth....but purely stolen spoils for the globalist politicians.......Phil Murphy is most certainly one of them for anyone who needs an education.

Who do you think causes more damage in this country and worls? A kid who can now only keep three snappers? Or the lying, stealing, China funded politicans who are stealing everything in sight...and things not in sight.

Wake up everyone! Who's side are you on??
