Sunday Funday Sea Bass action! 6/5
Got out on Mikey’s Dudu Garrett’s boat for some biscuits early Sunday morning. It’s about time. As we were heading up the river we ran into Blues smashing bait straight across from Bahr’s and stopped to crack a few. We landed 3 as we weren’t really prepared for them. Good fun on the Ultra lite Nano rod.
Left the Blues to get the meat hunt going. Ride out was a little rough but not bad as the ocean laid down beautiful by about 10:30 am. Drift was perfect and we boxed up with beautiful Sea Bass by 12:30 with 2 bonus Ling and an Ocean Pout joining the party. Found some really nice ones to 18 inches in 100-105 FOW away from the fleet. Good times had by all with my brother Mikey, James Stankkkle, Fireball Bob and my cousin Vinnie! TIGHT LINEZ!!!
