Default 5/29 Striper Report

Made is out with the little guy for an afternoon trip. Figured morning was probably a zoo. Got out around 4:00 with the bay to ourselves. Very few boats out. Felt like a midweek trip…. Dragged mojos for about an hour or so with hardly a touch. Made a little wiggle and set up again. Immediately got our first, quick pics and let her swim away. Set up again…. Another. While unhooking the fish, we hooked another on the other mojo that was just hanging in the water. Happened twice more where I was unhooking a fish and hooked up on a mojo that wasn’t even being fished. No blitz conditions, nothing on top…. But cool as hell. Proceeded to hook up and land a few more. Finished the day with a double. Raced my son to see who could land their fish first. Boat was a mess…. Scales, blood, and soggy goldfish. Great Trip! Little guy was a champ. Hope everyone had a great weekend and thank you to all those who served!

Great report. Not only fish were hooked, but your son as well. "Hey Dad, When Can We Go Fishing Again"?

Making great lifetime memories with Dad. It doesn't get better than that.

Thanks everyone! Heading back out this weekend. Little guy in tow of course. He’s been fishing since he was 3. Loves it!! He can’t get enough of fishing. I’ve tried my best to provide him with as many daddy/son bonding adventures as possible. He always amazes me.

Catch em up everyone! Be safe out there.

Great pics. Gives me flashbacks of when I started with my father. Keep him fishing. While other kids were playing video games, I was out digging worms, raking clams and scraping mussels off pilings to make chum!
