![]() Left MCM around 8 and was greeted to a east wind and a outgoing tide. Trolled a few spots close to the barn but not much happening. Decided to go where I found fish the last time out it was game on. Went 3 for 6 with the biggest around 32". Was trolling the Mojo and a Stretch 25 (remember them?) The first fish was on the stretch and all other fish and hits where on the mojo. Fished 20ft or water with good readings. Saw some other boats jigging and catching so we tried without much luck so we went back to trolling. The biggest problem I have is getting my boat in the 2.5 kt sweet spot since its a carb V6 2 stroke and it like to go slower or faster than that speed. Eventually I tilted the engine to get less bite and it did the trick! It looks like a blowout the next few days so I will be at it again on Sunday. Tight Lines!

![]() Glad you got em.... You might try towing a 5 gallon bucket behind the boat to create some drag or a drift sock. The metal handles on the bucket won't hold up so I would drill some holes in the side of the bucket and knot the line though them as well as some holes in the bottom of the bucket so the water drains out of it making it a less heavy when you go to bring it in.

![]() That speed is more doable with my 2 stroke V6. I will also give it a try. Also I wind up with seaweed on my Mojo's a lot. Any tips on how to prevent this? Is it necessary for the Mojo to be close to the bottom to catch fish? Thanks Capt.

![]() your going to slow and dragging the mojo on the bottom. by picking up speed you will have less grass on the lure
