Default FISHERMEN/Thursdays Bottom Fishing Report.

Just a handful of regulars showed today on this beautiful day....Ocean was flat calm and the Jumbo Porgies were hungry the first hour & a half into the change of tide.

Must have tossed back a couple dozen keeper Sea Bass so hopefully they will be there an hungry tomorrow.

Guys, please stop asking if we are TARGETING Sea Bass!

We are BOTTOM fishing, we take what we get as I don't have a Magic wand to separate the fish.

We will catch what wants to bite, like I said the Big Porgies bit good this morning....if you feel Porgies are not in your program and only want Sea Bass, I don't think many boats will guaranty that.

There are Millions of Sea Bass from the Veranzano out to the East, From between the channels down the beach and offshore, if you have done this long enough you know by now 75% of those fish are small. Just because we had a time out doesn't mean all those Big Bass in the Spring are still there.

We will certainly give it hell but please don't complain if you don't fill a bucket or end up catching Porgies.

Weekend is looking like crap into Monday!!! Figures.
