GOLDEN EAGLE - BLUES & MACKEREL TODAY - SEA BASS SEASON OPENS TOMORROW!
This morning we went to the same place where we caught them good yesterday and though there were plenty of fish there, they were difficult to catch and we ended up picking at the 3 to 8lb. BLUES. We decided to go offshore a little bit and started catching smaller fish in the 2 to 3lb. range. We caught quite a few of those and also caught quite a few MACKEREL. The SEA BASS were biting very well but we had to throw them back. TOMORROW IS OPENING DAY FOR SEA BASS so we should really have good fishing.
Starting tomorrow, we will be splitting our days between BLUES and SEA BASS and the weather looks great so make your reservations and enjoy the day fishing in the ocean.
