Default Backbay Fluke and Weakfish

Barnegat Bay has been good to us again this year, however a couple weeks ago we started getting less keepers in the back and alot of guys are fishing closer to the inlet. We have stuck it out in the back and after changing it up we are still catching pretty good. Earlier this season we did great using a small presentation to profile grass shrimp now we are using larger freshwater plastic to profile mantis shrimp and its been effective at times.Today it was wind against tide and I got a quick limit casting my jig uptide. Yesterday we had wind and tide together
the wonder rig and killie got 2 keepers while the jig didn't get much. What made the day special for us was finding a large school of Weakfish feeding on anchovies at first light. Alot of small ones though but a couple pushing 20 inches. It was really great to see and brought back alot of memories.
