Default Inshore Trolling

Has anyone been trolling inshore for blues, spanish mackeral? Been sinker bouncing out at Sea Girt and the current recently has been brutal. Looking for something else to do. I fish out of Manasquan. Any help would be appreciated.

You can always try a spread of something for toothy critters out there. Just give it a try....there are king macs out there as well.

Last year around this time my son and I started picking up some bonito, spanish and king mackerel (false albies showed up later) on Manasquan Ridge and a few other lumps. Look for clean & warm water.

We trolled Clark Spoons and Daisy Chains.

Wanted to give it a shot last Saturday but the forecast of severe storms starting in the early afternoon we called an audible and went fluking. As it was the skies opened up just has we tied off at the dock @ 1 o’clock.
