Default Ambrose?

So what happened to the fluking in the Ambrose channel the last few years. It used to be called the “fluke super highway”. I’ve tried it a few times in the last few years and it has sucked every time and usually it was “dogfish highway”. Just curious if others experienced the same and if so why they think that is. We used to do great there.

I agree, it’s not like it was 5-10 years ago. We used to be able to grab some big fluke out of there with the right conditions. I wonder if Sandy screwed the bottom up. I’ll keep trying it at times hoping the catching there gets better. Good luck to you.

Thanks for your thoughts. When I drift it it still feels a bit “bumpy”. As far as that goes people never used to worry about hard bottom for fluke. Just kind of funny how things change.
