![]() I got this from another site and thought it was important to pass it on.
There is a very good chance that there will be a reduction in Bluefin Tuna quota next year. The main problem is NOAA does not see any small fish being part of the stock. If recreational fisherman aren't reporting their catches then NOAA doesn't think they exist. NOAA relies on those of us with HMS permits for data on smaller non-commercial fish. It takes all of 5 minutes to log and report your catches. You should be reporting those fish that you harvest and those that were released. NOAA NEEDS TO SEE THAT THESE FISH ARE OUT THERE! Please report your catches.. HMSPERMITS.NOAA.GOV ONCE IT'S TAKEN AWAY, WE WILL NEVER GET IT BACK |

![]() Exactly and this goes for all species! Wish everyone would report good and bad as MRIP decides inshore quota which is suspect at best
