Default FISHERMEN /Thursdays Report.

FISHERMEN /Thursdays Report.

Sad to say but with the reports of very good fishing the past few days, only 1 customer showed today to fish with us.

Years ago when the fishing was good, guys would show up coming to the boat in their slickers!

The Weatherman screwed us once again with the 80% chance of rain, we did have a shower that lasted 10 minutes. Sad how times have changed.

We will be back at it tomorrow, so don't hem & haw, get your butt here to catch some fish...it won't last forever and the waiting for "The PERFECT DAY" report will only lead to, you missed the bite.

Not OPEN this Saturday. See you on Sunday.

Capt. Ron

That's when men went fishing!
Today the boat is full of facebook watching, metro-sexual types.

Have you spoken to some of these people?
I bet they "re-tweet" this.

At least they are ON the boat- right. I bet you these new fangled fishing guys take more than one shower a week too? LOL

Asked several people I knew if they wanted to chase fluke on Thursday as well. All answered with some version of rain being predicted. I then asked 'what the hell do you have $200 worth of foul weather gear for'? Wasted my time asking.

Yes times have changed. There is plenty of shelter on any party boat and and long as the winds are not gail force what's the problem? I remember fishing on the Fisherman years ago in the pouring rain with no rain jacket catching ling and having the time of my life! Get out there and catch fish while the fishing is GREAT! It will not last forever! Tight lines.
