Default 5/15 Report.....

First strictly fishing trip of the year after getting splashed 2 weeks ago. Myself and crew had a Fri nite retirement party to attend......keep this in mind...

Left at dead low and first light planning on trying for bass. Gave that 30 min before bailing out with no marks no birds and no intentions of dragging lures.

Shot out just passed Scotland and set up on the drift, realizing the guy responsible to bring the squid forgot it, guy responsible for clam forgot it and guy responsible to bring beer forgot it..........see first line of this report...

Anyway.......picked away on the drift with jigs and gulp new penny shrimp we had. Ok pick of cbass and some of the biggest ling I’ve seen in a awhile. Once the crowd built we headed inshore shallower only to find mini cbass jumping on 1 oz avas. All in all an ok day to get started.

75-80 FOW was the sweet spot for us. Shallower 45-50 was all pin cbass. Water temps 56-58 outside 60-61 inside. Bunker pods spread from the rip west with nothing on em.

Pretty sure we mugged the Obsession on the hook at SHR as we tried getting a drift figured out. Sorry Z my apologies........but those are my numbers....
