![]() There were certainly enough Congers out there yesterday. We caught them over 20 pounds. Cool looking fish. They look like dragons. Otherwise the Sea Bass and Ling made a great dinner

![]() What we call "Silver Eel" is the American Conger Eel... They get big -up to 80 pounds I read... Most of the ones I have seen have been under 15 or so pounds.
The European Conger grows double the size, up to 150 pounds +... Try a 50 pounder on a sea bass rig... yikes. |
