Drum fishing NSB 5/12/21
Headed out with Capt Tom for an afternoon of drum fishing. Beautiful crew of myself, Dev,Frankie Ocean & Vin Ragu. Wind was blowing steadily out of the northwest/west & water was filthy, also a bit colder than we would like at 59-60degrees. Screen was full of drum as we set tight on anchor & we could see them pushing under the boat on the finder but they wouldn't eat. Had some skates & capt Tom decided to push down to another area, same thing read them on the screen & could hear them. Finally rod goes off & dev fights & lands her #31specie a little black drum of 15-20lbs perfect size to kill! We had a few bites after that but nothing came tight. Everyone was just happy to see dev land the drum. Now to prepare for Sea bass
