Thanks! I wasn't targeting trout as you can see the large rapala . I've caught striped bass in that exact spot.

Maybe it was from the State surplus stocking of small trout in Piscataway.
That combined with MULTIPLE clean ups through that area. Vintage pic of trout caught in the net pull near Piscataway by Rutgers students. Either way it's all good. |

I didn't measure him but around 16 maybe,I wanted to get him back in the water quickly. Came out of the water 4 times and fought real well .

Pretty cool. Going by the silver coloration that fish has spent a good amount of time in the lower river.

They’ve been known to get washed way way down. They just become hard to find most of the time. Great catch man. Healthy Bow!!
