Splashed the mamba for the first Rvta tourney of the year. Started out in the rain and deployed the 16 rod spread and got to work. Later in the day it got nicer as the day went on. Worked the big ole pond and found tons of rainbows,Lakers and a few browns also. A lot of these fish were just plain awesome all nice holdovers 2lbs + . Quite a few shakers on at times to you really had to watch the board to try to tell there was little stockie guy on there. Ended up on top sweeping both divisions and taking home quite a bit of cash. Winning rainbow was a 3.1 Estimated three year old holdover which I kept alive all day weighed her in and released her. Winning laker was 23-1/4” 3.96 good thick fish...
