Andrea Toy II
I have never seen a more idiotic Captain in all my 62 years. This guy doesn’t care about his fellow boaters. We were fishing the Raritan river and he had no consideration for another boater fishing. He cruised by not even in the channel but right through the area we were fishing full speed knocking my 18ft boat all over the place and chasing the great fish bite we had going to 23 lb fish. I am going on record to say this Captain is a total ASS. Next time you might not like the outcome.

Re: Andrea Toy II
Why should he be in the channel when the fish are in the flats? And full speed in that boat is 70 mph and the wake is a lot less than your fresh water boat running 2000 rpm because you can’t plane in 2s and 3s. Your not jealous much, are you?

Re: Andrea Toy II
You had trouble with that boat a few years ago? That’s interesting because it’s a brand new boat and it’s first trip out was less than a year ago for BF 120 miles out of PP.

Re: Andrea Toy II
Capt Freddy is a good dude. See him in the bay, see him in the canyons, see him at the seminars. Calling him is likely optimal from a results standpoint. There's a wrap on the boat for numerous reasons, one of which is so you can call him to discuss any issues whether you're a client or not.
Personally, I had a situation last year with someone captaining my boat. Crossed lines of communication plus some nasty weather and a little bit of ignorance here and there led to some lessons for all involved. We never would have learned anything if the other boat involved didn't contact me to discuss because I was unaware anything had occurred. I appreciated him reaching out even if he was little hot because we could discuss it. In my specific case, did my captain do anything wrong, well, it was a gray area, but ignorance isn't bliss that's for sure, and I'm glad we spoke. -Rob -Family Ties, WorldCat 320 -Discovery 16 -Native 12 Last edited by rwp2101; 04-18-2021 at 04:29 PM.. |

Re: Andrea Toy II
You should just contact Freddie directly. He's a really good guy and will set things right.
Airing it out here smears people who don't deserve the crap slung. Precision shoot at the guy at the wheel. Talk to Freddie. Quote:

Talked to basstracker, apologies warranted and given.
Bobby K, can pick up the phone like basstracker did And talk it out man to man, not jump on a public Bandwagon and trash my organization!
