Default Properly handling fish to be released

Here’s an article that should help educate fellow anglers on how to properly handle fish especially now with these beautiful over stripers. It hurts to see a lot of big girls being held in the vertical position it tears the organs and ultimately leads to death they may swim away but die short time later pleas hold horizontal with full Support under

Thanks for the post Matt. Lots of good advice there. And for the ones you keep I've found a difference in taste if I dispatch the fish quickly with the fish bat.

Depends on the fish and the release method may change a little.. Fluke vs Sea Robins. Stripers vs. dogfish. Right?

One is treated like a infant and the other like a piñata?
