Default tough togging followed by schoolie action

hit a 6 pack charter with a filthy crew consisting of fellow NJF members John, scoward, and fasteddie last week with hopes of a good tog bite. Captain tried around some different spots and we tried a few different tactics but it just didn't come together. a few of us managed a handful of shorts, a keeper tog here and there, and some keeper seabass.

On the way back in, fortunately, we got into some rapid fire, light gear, schoolie striper action with multiple quadruple headers and a few that almost broke the 28" mark.

not much meat to take home from the bottom fishing, but at least we had a little and good times otherwise!

Woah... Now there's a crew that would leave a ring around the bathtub

Nice to be able to bail out a slow bottom fishing trip with some Stripers. Glad you managed to bring something home for the table and thanks for the report Chrisper.
