Default Saturday night Navesink bluefish

Dark soft plastics were hit about every 4th cast about 50 yards west of the Oceanic Bridge. It was after sunset and we were treated by nature to a beautiful moonrise. They ran to 4 pounds. No stripers which were the targeted species.

At least they were there. Better than just hearing lure splashes at night. Been there myself.

Didn't the blues wreck havoc on your soft plastics?

Akoop: They did indeed but they were up to 4 to 5 years old and my son and I felt they were deteriorating. Many were retrieved without tails. Also forgot to add in original post I was using Pro-Cure inshore attractant.
