Redeemer Sportfishing - Friday, September 25 Yellowfin Beat Down Report Pop Jig Chunk
Quick report. Ran another open boat offshore yellowfin trip today. Late bite but we did good on jigs, poppers and bait, had to use 40 pd leader which made it difficult. Way too many break offs. Not worth it. Went 5 for 12 on some big fish. Weather was good. Large fleet didn’t help including 4 party boats. Will probably need to stay later tmw as the bite is later. Water temps dropped a lot to 66. Stomachs were empty, sea weed, leaches and small crabs. Sorry no photos since my phone fell in the water along with me .....running open boat next week. Schedule TBD.
