Best pike of the summer

Hit thr river for three hours on labor day. Landed 3 pike and a pickeral total. Towards the end of the trip i had a huge blow up on my spinnerbait but the fish missed it. I tossed it back out and he smashed it again. The fish took me in a circle in the kayak and i got him in. The best pike of the summer. Measured at 33” but fat! Also had another nice one on a top water swimbait but lost him ; ( oh well hopefully next time. What a way to end a great summer!

That's one fat pike I think the tail of summer is a great time to fish, we got these cool nights and these critters are hungry!

Very nice looks like one of biggest of the year , great catch ! Used to get them like that out of Spruce Run years back !
