![]() Going to be down in Cape May for the long weekend and will be surf casting the jetties along Cape May Point. Does this area count for the Delaware Bay 17" fluke size limit? Not that I'm expecting to see anything over 15", but would be nice to take something home if I find any of size.

![]() Anything West of the colregs line is 17. I believe if you draw a line from Cape May Point to Cape Henlopen, everything west is 17.
So fishing the Point west to Sunset beach and Higbee beach your good. Anything east of that its 18

![]() That may apply only to fishing in the bay. Boats with 17' fish have to come into cape may through the canal and cannot go past a certain point which I dont remember right now. Ck the regs.

![]() Found this in the marine digest: "Applies to Delaware Bay and tributaries, west of COLREGS line delineating Delaware Bay from Atlantic Ocean but does not include waters of Cape May Canal east of Cape May Ferry Terminal."
Looks like depending on where I'm fishing on the point it could be 17 or 18, depending on if I'm east of the 2nd jetty according to Navionics mapping of the Colregs line. Thanks for the replies guys!
