Default Middlegrounds/Canyon Reports

It's been very quiet the last handful of days...which means the Tuna bite has cooled off a bit or people are crushing them and keeping it low. We had a little bit of luck at the Triple Wrecks last week, but that has seemed to die off from what I heard. Not seeing many temp breaks out there at all either. Looking for any reports from this week.

I know some boats that caught mostly yellowfins in the Triple wreck area Saturday and Sunday

We were out at Monster yesterday and not much happening there. One hit on the troll...nice mahi that was lost halfway to the boat. Baby chickens on a couple pots...not much bigger than large snapper blues.

Joe the fishing has never been better, the weather has kept most commercials at the dock. Difficult to do last minute makeup charters of 6 guys, a lot is involved and flexibility is the problem. Forecasts are all over the place.
