![]() Me and Jarhead Arty hit the Gaffer today and we covered a lot of ground. Captain Ray gave us the choice to try Seabass and Triggers or steam out to the Mudhole for ling and we opted for Seabass and Triggers. We fished most of the morning for them them and got covered and I mean covered with Seabass and a few guys had Triggers but not enough to keep you interested. As soon as you dropped down it was double Seabass... Took a few Fluke drifts to try and put something together but with hardly any drift it was very slow on bait or bucktails...
I could see around 11:30 Ray and Alex were not happy and getting impatient since they were not satisfied with the fishing so we took a long steam east off into the deep for Ling and it didn't disappoint... Fish we're flying over the side instantly and everyone got a nice bag of fillets in overtime... Got to hand it to Ray and Alex...They never gave up and as usual a great day on the Mad Gaffer. Thanks Ray and Alex for going the extra mile and keeping us out late... Always fun fishing with you guys!
