![]() Captain Ronald Santee Sr. 83 of Atlantic Highlands N.J. passed away in the early morning of Friday, Jan.10th after a short, tough battle with leukemia. He was born in Paterson N.J. on March 22,1936.
Captain Ron was a well respected member of the Fishing community for over 60 years. An avid Fisherman and Teacher, he Owned & operated the Party Boat Fishermen & Paddlewheel Dinner boat Sandy Hook Lady, Atlantic Highlands. The many lives that have been touched over the years are endless with fond memories and long time bonds. Many will remember Captain Ron Sr. as a legend in his time. A loving Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, he will be painfully missed by all. He was Predeceased by his Parents John & Veronica,(Malargio), brother John and Daughter Rosemary Santee Carr. Survived by his beloved Wife of 63 years Rosemarie (Tramutolo). Brother Robert (Kathy) Santee. Children, Captain Ron Santee Jr.(Debbie) and Daughter Roxanne. Grandchildren, Chrystal (Stephen), Anthony, Ronald, Erica, Brandon, Jilyane, Ryan, Amanda. Great Grandchildren Adriana, Gavin, Skye, Rylee, Roman, and many nieces & nephews Viewing & Service will be held on Tuesday Jan.14th from 2pm-6pm at Posten-McGinley Funeral home in Atlantic Highlands. In lieu of Flowers, Memorial contributions can be made to: Recreational Fishing Alliance, P.O. Box 250, New Gretna, N.J. 082224 |

You are a lucky man to have had a father like Capt. Ron Sr. I love the smile on his face when he is holding up those Mutton Snapper in Key West. He touched the lives of many people and he was a real gentleman.
