Default The Lakers Couldn't Hide! 11/20/19

After one year of hunting them at the valley, I can finally cross Lake Trout off the list! (4 species left)
Caught a few SM Bass as bonus today while searching for the Laker. One was a chunky 2lber. Wind was blowing a little, it was cold but perseverance paid off!

Lures used were keitech swimbaits and the Binsky bladebait.

Also attaching photos of catches from my trip to the valley from last week - a nice rainbow trout and LM bass.
That makes 1 rainbow, 2 LM, 1SM, 1 Rock Bass from last week and 1 Lake Trout, 5 SM Bass from today. All fish were released to become future trophies. Lake Trout have their spawning season right now.
Harsh conditions but it was great fun!

Thanks fellas, it was an adventure. Sometimes very frustrating, getting skunked from time to time!

The last 4 are Snakehead, Bowfin, White crappie, and Muskellunge.
If I come across lesser known fish like the bridle shiner, redfin pick, etc. they will be a great bonus!

That's a decent pot of fish right there! I've still got a few on my list that need to be tended to, congrats on getting another checked off of yours!!

I was amazed to even see that much fish considering most of the time I get skunked at this reservoir!
Which species do you still have to find, Esox?

Nice day and beautiful fish. What do you mean four species left? What are you trying to catch and what is the goal here?
