Started the morning off trolling for bass and found them quick but not the size we were looking for. Quantity yes, quality not so much. So made a move and found some better fish. Headed to the toggin grounds once the wind kicked up and had a slow but steady pick of blackfish for a while. Birds began working all around us as we were toggin and caught a few bass on top water while anchored up. On the way home found the birds again and all the short/slot bass you wanted. Caught em on jigs, rigs, and top water plugs. Not a banner day but a good day by far.
