Mad gaffer fishing report Saturday nov. 2

We went out striper fishing today , with the best of intentions, but they did not cooperate , So we shifted gears , and went bottom fishing. We were pleasantly surprised . With all that wind on Thursday , and Friday, I would’ve thought the bottom would be much more riled , and it was not. We have wound up with some sea bass , A triggerfish, and some really good black fishing. We had a few fish in the seven and 8 pound range, lots of life, a full boat limit, and threw back plenty of shorts , And keepers. Very good action , and some nice fish to take home. Our next open day is Tuesday, and hopefully the bass bite again tomorrow . I’m sort of optimistic about the up coming Blackfish season, let’s hope it holds up. We have also plenty open charter dates for the Rest of the season , And also next year call for information and reservations hope to see you soon thanks RAY
