Default Shrimpman to the promised land

Hi all
Been a while since I’ve been up north. Been busy driving airboats the last couple of years. However that’s about to change. My son Jake, Doug, Johnny tomatoes and my old boss Walter conspired with my wife and employer to get me to Montauk for a striper/fluke charter then a day on the miss Montauk!!!

Jake called me last night to tell me this secret plan which was months in the making. I leave on Saturday fish the “oh brother” Sunday the miss Montauk on Monday hang out Tuesday go home Wednesday. Happy birthday to me. I knew having kids would eventually pay off

Can’t wait to post a report live from the promised land, just like old times!!

Nice. I'm heading out Thursday nite hopefully for a fri/sat overnighter. They've been slaying big fluke and mongo sea bass out there. My father and bro did a bail job on biscuits and baccala today!

Steve that's one heck of a birthday surprise! Knowing family and friends went out of their way to set it up covertly is more important than actually going.....although that's pretty great too! Get the details on the 17.90 if you can, in particular length. Curious based on the discussion in the other thread. Hope you have a great trip, catch a DD and enjoy your special time with your family and friends. Bar has been set, wonder what they have in store next year!
