Upper Shrewsbury fluking
Wednesday 11 SEP. Fished incoming tide at mouth of the river to about Bahr's. 6 shorts on killies and fluke belly. Went further down and caught 2 more shorts. Nice day on the water.
Thursday out going tide nothing at first save a short. Went to Navesink drifted around Oceanic Bridge and along channel edge eastwards. Plenty of crabs. Back to the Shrewsbury and got a 20 incher south of the confluence. Same bait as Wednesday. Nice morning to be on the river. Fish tacos this evening.
