Fishing Report Sunday September 8th 2019

Hey Gang, We were not sure what to expect today due to the swell and strong winds left over from Dorian. It was a nice surprise when we rounded the hook and were greeted with a nice calm ocean. We started off fishing down the beach but the action was pretty much non existent so we took a ride offshore to find some fish. Our first drift Prowler regular Gary Mann from Clifton N.J. landed a beautiful 8.9 lb flattie which took the pool. There was a fair amount of short action throughout the day and some quality keepers too. It should pick back up after a few more changes.
