Default Canyon overnighter

My first canyon overnight trip in well over 20 years. It was worth it.

I assume the tuna bite was nonexistent since there were no tuna in the pictures?
Nice swordfish. The power of those fish is amazing and they are so unpredictable. One year I caught a 140lb and got him in pretty easy. The next time I caught and released on 50lb that beat the shit out of me.

Nice pig swordie. Enjoy the steaks on the grill!

They're badass animals. How much did it weigh?

That is one slob of a sword.

No tuna or even mahi?

You caught the sword and took off? LOL

Sword weighed 208. We pulled a half dozen mahi off a pot on the way out. Lost an eyeball after 30 minute fight.

Nice fish! That's a long trip for one fish, but it is a nice one.

You get what the canyons give you. One sword like that makes a trip a success!

First, awesome sword!

Why can’t people just congratulate the nice fish rather than take a passive-aggressive dig at no tuna or swords? A 200# sword is a great trip by lost accounts especially the past few years. And I wonder how many of the posters have actually been to the edge in the past few years?....
