Talking Miss Belmar - WEEKEND WRAP UP

Friday afternoon, we fished the same area as last night. It started off slow but the last hour was lights out with spectacular fishing! Once again, we caught close to a full boat limit of jumbo sea bass along with ling and a few keeper fluke!!!

Saturday morning, we had a pick on the sea bass and ling for the first half of the day. Mid day, we ran offshore on a report and we anchored up along the edge of the mud hole. It took a little while to get the mackerel going so we picked away at first and as the day went on fishing improved. We ended up having great fishing with the mackerel and plenty of sea bass and ling! Our pool winner was Rick Oville from PA with a 3 lb fluke!

Saturday afternoon, we fished in a few different areas. There were plenty of readings but the sea bass and ling did not cooperate. We managed to scratch out a decent catch but the fishing was nowhere near what is has been these past few days. Our pool winner was Derek Dejesus from West Chester, PA.

This morning, we fished out east of our inlet along the edge of the mud hole. We anchored up and started the mackerel instantly and had them under the boat and in the chum slick all day. Anglers that went to the bottom with a bottom rig picked away at nice sized sea bass and ling. It was a great day of angling had by all with great weather!

With all of this heat and humidity, both the Miss Belmar Princess and the Royal Miss Belmar have fully air conditioned cabins if you want to stay cool in this summer heat!

The Miss Belmar Princess is sailing daily for blues, bonito and mackerel from 7:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m. and every afternoon from 4:30 p.m. – 8:30 p.m. for fluke, sea bass and ling. The Royal Miss Belmar is sailing daily from 7:30 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. for fluke, sea bass and ling.

The Miss Belmar Princess is the largest, fastest and cleanest fishing boat in Belmar. With Miss Belmar's 3 engines and a total of 2,100 horsepower, she is the first boat to the fishing grounds every day and we guarantee it. No other boat comes close. Try us and you'll see why.
