Default big stripers on the cong!!!

we left the dock at 5:15 and headed towards beg bug.we had a good south west breeze and started a drift heading towards sharpes rock.we went maybe
30 yards and we got bit.after a great fight i net a nice 26" hybrid for my son.we
get set up and continue.we go 100yads more and my son hooks up again.we try to keep as many baits in the water as we can while the fight is on as others are
normally around and they were.i went to clear a rod and as i picked it up i got slammed.6:30am and we are doubled up.we land them both and again they are nice fish,24" & 26-1/2".3 for 3 and its 6:45am with no one else out.we go up to
take another drift but this time we shortened it up a little starting by the bouy.
we just got set up and my sons rod goes off again only this time the line had jumped around the reel handle.this fish is steaming and my son was working as fast as he could but the fish was faster and snapped the line.we finish out the drift with no other bites.we run up one more time and start the drift again.half
way threw my down rod goes off screaming.i lock the reel and missed.we ended up 3 for six and were off the water at 8:30.if you are looking to catch one of these nice stripers now is the time.if anyone needs any help or has questions shoot me a pm.

Was out Friday night around 8pm and the lake was pretty empty.

I went out Friday and Saturday the week before catching lots of bullheads on herring but I'll have to go out next time drifting for hyrbids. I also was out in the afternoon so I'll try to get out early next time.

The non stop bad press and flashing road signs about the HAB has done one hell of a job at keeping people away from the lake.

I was out on the yak Sat afternoon and there was minimal boat traffic.

Some shops are saying that business is down 70% as compared to years past.
