Default Canyon runner

Does anyone know what is going on with the charters on canyon runner? I know what has been written and was wondering with all the trouble if I should take a chance and schedule a trip with a deposit? What happens to my deposit if Belgium takes the boats? Just asking hoping to get answers?
Guessing he made a bad business decision but don’t want to lose my money

why chance it with that outlay of cash, look at Blue Runner Sportfishing if they aren't totally booked and there's a few others that are also very good - better to err on the side of caution

What happened? Rumors whether true or not change perceptions. And rumor reliability also depend on the story's source.

Thumbs down Re: Canyon runner

Here we go. Instead of acting like a man with a brain and not instigating some bullshit, just take your business elsewhere. It’s amazing when there’s a positive post, many remain silent. So let stir some shit and see where it goes. Be quiet and move on.

Sorry I asked! Looks like I struck a nerve. Pretty sure it’s not rumors. There’s three countries involved. I work hard for my money and don’t want to lose it! I’m going to take penn’s word and call Blue Runner. I certainly know who I won’t be calling! Down deep bull sorryif I ruffled your feathers but I figure better safe than sorry then I would be on here saying they stole my mind Nye how do I get it back.

Wow give the guy a break, money doesn't grow on trees hell this guy charges nearly double what most other charters do for the same trip. Hell you can charter the Viking Five Star for 12 people on a canyon tuna overnighter for 500 less than the canyon runner and it's 10 times the boat the canyon runner will ever be. One thing I'll give them credit for is they advertise more aggressively than any operation I've seen. If they're guilty the hell with them and if they are innocent I'll publicly apologize.

Arrow Re: Canyon runner

There’s common sense involved here. Instead of throwing the guy under the bus, the question could have been posed in a different light, without the need to direct attention to the guys misfortune, right, wrong or indifferent. If you have your doubts about it, go with your gut and leave the speculation out of it, that’s all.

Took your advise and read the articles, looks like enough is never enough! Three countries can’t be wrong! I am glad I never chartered him. They may impound the boats and those who have paid deposits will certainly lose them. The other boat is a first class operation. Did my homework on them, no one has said a bad word about them anywhere.

As far as throwing him under the bus looks like he did it to himself. Sometimes people just make bad business decisions!
