Headed back offshore in very nice conditions....Flat calm and a warm breeze
The bottom was very lively again,,,the perch were relentless...No lack of bites from them,,in between we ended up with a couple of nice Codfish,,couple of ling..some blackfish we threw back..and some other exotics..
Tomorrow(Monday)we start our Spring Blackfish fishing....We will be fishing back inshore in the 30-70ft range..Water temps offshore are 41 degrees and inshore we had them up to 44 degrees on the way home yesterday...With northwest winds in the forecast it will be nice inshore near the beach where we are fishing...So game on...we start tomorrow!!! We have both clams and crabs for bait....See ya tomorrow.
