Starting my 7 consecutive season of seeking out 5#+ trout in local streams .so far 43 but this winter didn't connect , so I start again this Saturday to get to that elusive 50 trout over 5#'s ! All released accept for a few that swallowed my lure !

Keep after them Lou! We had 3 in the 4-5 lb range for the pre-season float on Thu. No doubt there'll be plenty more going in during the 2nd half this coming Tue.

I've never fished where we stocked , but I'm running on empty right now , last 5# trout , April 20 th last year , winter not kind to me this year with the big girls'
Might give it a go shortly !
