![]() i hit the north end of the cong yesterday and caught crappies and sunnies on jig-n-bobbers. i had the jig 2 and a half to 3 ft bellow the bobber used a slow roll and twitch method in 4 to 6 fow and found fish.. they were active till about 10:00am then the bite died untill about noon then the bite was back on. i managed to get 30 crappies and two nice sunnies the crappies were from 9" to 12". the clouds rolled in around 4:30 and the winds picked up and the bite died off so i called it a day. not to bad of a start for the open water season once the water warms up the action should improve and we should find bigger fish. i would like to wish all of the njf family's a happy st pats day
