Big Jamaica 1/26 Report - Excellent Fishing Again!
1/26/19 Report Excellent Fishing Again! On the Saturday Offshore Trip! Jumbo Porgies - Ling - Hake - Mackerel, Pollock. Next offshore trip sails 1AM Saturday February 2. Fishing was excellent on Saturday with many Limits of Jumbo Porgies, a few, ling, hake, mackerel, whiting arend Pollock. The pool winners were: Earl Speer from Forked River NJ with an 8lb Pollock. Rob Fusiek from Cape May NJ with a 4.5lb Ling. It looks good for upcoming trips. We read plenty of big schools of porgies (sometimes 40-50 feet thick) on the wrecks we fished. The Jamaica is scheduled to sail to the offshore wrecks every Saturday in February leaving 1AM, boarding is by midnight Friday night. We also caught some Boston mackerel while we were fishing the offshore wrecks. if you of the anglers that tried work catching double headers at times. For reservations and information call 732-528-5014

Re: Big Jamaica 1/26 Report - Excellent Fishing Again!
Yesterday was excellent I got 43 Porgy’s & a 20” Ling plus a nice jumbo Sea Bass that I vented & watch swim away I hope I’m lucky enough to catch it inshore this spring. Howard runs a great operation mates were excellent. Plus the captain paid great attention to make sure the entire boat was into fish by re anchoring to make sure everyone was into fish. Not a very easy thing to do on a boat this big & not too many people pay attention to this.
