Mad gaffer fishing report Friday Dec. 14
It was sort of iffy if we were going to go today at all with the weather The way it was , but we took a shot at it, after yesterday’s fishing being as good it was I was excited to go back . It was a little bit bouncy with a big swell , and the first drop we didn’t have much life , but we wound up catching tons of fish at the next drop . Unfortunately there was not as many keepers as I would’ve liked to see , the keeper ratio was about 10 to 1 , and I feel that is because of the bad weather coming . It is keeping the bigger fish from biting . It is kind of the antithesis of yesterday where we had very very few shorts , and all the fish were of a good size , and bigger. Looks like the weekend is a wash we will be trying again next week watch for the Open Boat posts call for information and reservations
